Charisma Power In Attracting People

Why is it that some people seem to attract others almost without effort when others take great strains to get even noticed?
Its in the Charisma Power
Such an unusual personal commodity – Charisma is one of the “X Factors” you need to develop if you want lasting success in attracting people into your life.
But firstly, what exactly is Charisma?
How do we get it?
And, can we make it work in our lives?
Charisma is defined as a magnetic ability to attract others into your circle. Some people do this very well and have such a charm and poise about themselves that others simply warm to instantly.
If you want to meet more people and have a lasting effect on them – then its vital that you develop charisma as a basic part of your overall plan to improve your scope of opportunities. This may take a short or long time depending on your desire to perfect your charismatic abilities, but it should defiantly be in your plans to succeed.
Charismatic people have beliefs that are the basis of their personalities.
In general these can be:
• A sense of “destiny” in wanting to help people. They feel that by reaching out to others they are giving back to the world what it has given them.
• They feel touched by God and / or a Higher Purpose in their lives. As such they have well springs of inner warmth and happiness inside them to share with others in their daily lives.
• Based on their higher purpose directives, they tend to see leadership roles as a confirmation of their specialness and uniqueness. They see it as their duty to follow through and achieve goals. They are not easily put off by setbacks and disappointments. They see this as a part of the struggle and are willing to go through it in order to achieve a higher life purpose goal.
• Often charismatic people are given to leading or supporting causes. These are not always public banner headline causes, but can sometimes be in local suburban issues or industry or niche interest areas.
Charisma Power Can Be Both Negative Or Positive
Its important to note that charisma power can be used either in a positive or negative context. Sometimes a leader who has attained a powerful position may not be aware of their own negative downsides i.e. not listening to any negative feedback regarding their policies or directives from subordinates, or asking impossible things from their followers, which their followers maybe too intimidated to challenge them about.
How To Develop The Power Of Charisma In Your Life
1. Take some form of public speaking education – what I suggest is Toastmasters International or anything similar in your local area. Public speaking is vital in improving your communication and expression skills.
2. Learn how to make an impression with people everywhere you go. Smile and be warm towards people when you go about your everyday duties.
3. Last impressions count too – while many people say you need to create a good first impression, its often the last impression you leave with a person that will be remembered by them. be aware that you will be tested by all of your interaction with people and not just the first few minutes of conversation.
4. Simple etiquette and poise – yes, its how you hold yourself that makes a big difference between being seen as a jerk, tart or a coveted prima donna personality. How you dress and how you hold your body language and especially your temper are all important. If you’re the impatient type and blow your top over pettiness, then you’ll find attracting people will be limited by your impatience with others.
5. Promote or champion other people in your life – be the voice of others in your circle. While its true many charismatic people are excellent self promoters, they are also equally great at promoting others, everything from their local café to that of friends who can get things done around the home. A true charismatic person will even help a friend to find a job or organize a social get together as they truly love people and their focus is on promoting events around people in their lives.
If you really want to make this work for you, you’ll need to see that creating a charismatic personality will be something of a long term goal. You may need to be aware of your own personality traits and to fix areas that fall short of the charisma goal, but it is certainly possible.
What can make all this possible? It can be determined mostly by your desire to positively change your world around you and to make an impact on others in a lasting way. I don’t know what drives you nor do I know what makes you get excited about life, but by working on your charismatic appeal, you’ll attract much more of it and you’ll attract more of the right people into your life if you make this work for you.
